President of the All-India Kisan Federation Prem Singh Bhangu and Leader of Samyukt Kisan Morcha said preparations had been made for Bharat Bandh on March 26. As per the reports, the 'Bandh' will be observed in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Maharashtra, apart from Punjab and Haryana.

On March 26, road and rail traffic, as well as the markets would remain closed. Even the government offices would observe complete “bandh” from 9 am to 6 pm, but essential services would be exempted.
Bhangu said there was widespread resentment among people against the apathetic attitude of the Union Government. The Samyukt Kisan Morcha has appealed to all sections of society to participate in the “bandh” with full strength.
